WARSAW – The Warsaw girls track team will hold a call-out meeting on Jan. 19 for its 2017 season.

The meeting, which is for any athlete interested in participating in track who is not in a winter sport, begins at 3 p.m. in Tiger Central at WCHS.

Matt Thacker, who is the coach of the very successful WCHS boys track program, was named the new girls track coach on Monday night.

The Warsaw girls track team opens its season with an HSR indoor qualifier meet on March 4 at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion. The outdoor opener is scheduled for March 22 at Penn.
