
Edith A. Neer, 95, Orange City, Fla., formerly Warsaw, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 in Majestic Oaks Rehabilitation, Orange City, Fla.
She was born Dec. 21, 1921 in Claypool to Richard Fred and Mary Jane (Julius) Davis. She graduated from Claypool High School in 1940 and married Harold Neer Jan. 1, 1942 in Warsaw. They were married for 55 years until his passing, Sept. 7, 1997.
She spent most of her life in Warsaw before moving to Debary, Fla. She enjoyed knitting and garage sales and when she was younger, she loved traveling.
She is survived by her son, Chip (Janice) Neer, Fort Wayne; a daughter, Penny (Thomas) Dzuba, Deltona, Fla.; three granddaughters: Tina Coleman, Orlando, Fla.; Tracey Dzuba, Deltona, Fla.; Tanna (Luis) Oliver, Deltona, Fla.; three great grandkids: Pevin Coleman, Tylee Oliver, Taylin Oliver.
She was preceded by her husband, Harold; her brother, Max Davis; and two sisters, Irene Konkle and Helen Lewis.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20, at Titus Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, also at the funeral home. Pastor Bob Jarboe of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice Chaplain will officiate. Burial will occur at Oakwood Cemetery.
