KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Learn to use amateur radio to communicate worldwide or locally with others as a hobby or in an emergency when other forms of communications are not working. Work with local, state and federal governments  in times of need when emergencies arise or anytime someone is in need of communications.

The Hoosier Lakes Radio Club is hosting an amuteur radio license class. Class dates are as follows:

  • 9 a.m. until noon on Feb. 11
    Orientation and books
  • 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on March 11 & 12
    Class and testing

The registration deadline is Feb 2. The cost for the class covers study guide, handouts, meals and snacks. Classes will be held at the Kosciusko County Justice Building, 121 N Lake St., Warsaw.
