Velma J.Schultz, 99, Warsaw, passed away at 12:50 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation, Warsaw.

Velma was born Nov. 7, 1917, at Tippecanoe, to Ed and Myra Warnaucutt.

She was a homemaker; enjoyed her card club; helping her children and sharing her good humor. She was
a graduate of Tippecanoe High School; a member of United Church of Christ and attended First Baptist Church.

On Feb. 9, 1985, she joined in marriage to Gordon W. Schultz, who preceded her in death. She will be greatly missed by her four children: Michael (Gloria) Smith of SanDiego, Calif.; Jerry (Madyline) Smith of Texas; Janice Boyce of Nevada; and Joyce Shue of Warsaw. She was blessed with thirteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her three spouses: William Babcock, Gerald Smith, Gordon Schultz: three sisters: Ruth, Martha and Francis; one grandson Jeremiah Kenton Shue.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home 115 S. Main St. Bourbon, IN 46504. Funeral services will be follow at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Parks Cemetery at Bourbon, Indiana.

Deaton Clemens Funeral Home is entrusted in arranging the services of Velma Schultz.
