Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

1:48 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, SR 15 and Shelden Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Joshua Bammel, 35, Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, and Sarah Larty, 27, CR 200S, Warsaw.  Bammel rear-ended Larty’s vehicle at the intersection. Bammel drove away from the scene without providing information to Larty. Damages up to $5,000.

7:39 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 25, Lake City Highway and South CR 250E, Warsaw. Driver: Martin Sacks, 69, East Cr 700S, Warsaw. Sacks struck a sign after sliding off the road. Damages up to $2,500.

Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

7:54 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, Old Road 30 and North CR 300E, Warsaw. Drivers: Shane Smalley, 21, East CR 400N, Warsaw, and Thomas Keough, 22, East CR 225S, Winona Lake. Smalley rear-ended Keough’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.

8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, SR 14 and South CR 850W, Akron. Driver: Clayton Slone, 33, Sycamore Street, Silver Lake. Slone struck a deer with his vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.

6:25 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 25, SR 19 and West CR 900S, Mentone. Driver: Stephanie Weaver, 28, Water Street, Akron. Weaver struck a deer with her vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
