Mary Jo Hite Seitner, 82, died at 5:49 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She was born Feb. 9, 1934 in Gransville, W. Va. to Charles and Mildred (McCartney) Johnson. She married Carl Seitner Jan. 7, 2004, in Warsaw.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was a homemaker and a member of the Early Apostolic Bible Training Center. She loved to fish and attend garage sales. She especially loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daugheter, Linda (Ron) Smith, Palestine; her son, Mike (Mara) Seitner, Warsaw; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; many step children, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn White, Texas; and Debbie Sutton, New Paris; a half sister, Doris Puckett, Claysville, Ohio; a brother, Darrell McCartney, Leary, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Seitner; her son, David Seitner; sisters, Nylene McKenna and Dean Cunningham; two brothers, Raymond McCartney and Leon McCartney.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Titus Funeral Home in Warsaw. The service will follow at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23 at the funeral home. Pastor Dean Ealey, from Early Apostolic Bible Training Center. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery in Palestine.
