Five Injured In Noble County Accident Thursday

NOBLE COUNTY — Five people were injured in a one-vehicle accident Thursday, Dec. 15, in the area of US 33 and CR 50N, in Noble County. The accident occurred at 4:19 p.m.

Noble County Sheriff’s Deputies reported a 2003 Lincoln Navigator, driven by Yar Sout, 42, Fort Wayne, was traveling north on US 33 with five passengers in his vehicle. Witnesses stated the vehicle was northbound on US 33 and for an unknown reason, left the roadway, traveled across the center line and hit a concrete cornerstone on the west side of the road. Police reported it appears as though several occupants were not wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.

Two passengers were flown by Parkview Samaritan due to severity of injuries. Three other passengers were transported to Parkview Whitley Hospital by EMS. Sout tested negative for any alcohol or controlled substances.

Injured were: Ka Moo, 51, Fort Wayne; Be Gan, 43, Fort Wayne; Win Myint, 47, Fort Wayne; Maj By, 20, Fort Wayne; and Ah Le, 54, Milwaukee, Wis.

Noble County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Parkview Noble EMS, Whitley County EMS, Sparta Township, Albion Fire Department, Noble Township Fire Department and Ligonier Police Department.
