
Sally L. Baker, 71, Milford, passed away at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at Goshen Hospital in Goshen.
She was born May 26, 1945 in Warsaw to Ralph E. and Gladys Marie (Hollar) Berkeypile.
She was a lifetime Milford area resident and graduated in 1963 from Milford High School. She was married on May 27, 1964 at St. Mark’s Church in Goshen to Dean E. Baker, who survives. She was formerly employed with United Telephone in Warsaw, was an assistant to Dr. Leonard Brooks in Warsaw, and was the athletic secretary at Wawasee High School in Syracuse for 16 years.
She formerly attended the United Methodist Church in Milford and was a life member of the former American Legion Auxiliary in Milford.
She is survived by her husband, Dean Baker, Milford; her daughter, Lori Chalk, New Paris; her son, Scott (Christine) Baker, Warsaw; four grandchildren: Heather Chalk, Taylor Chalk, Lindsay Baker and Luke Baker; three great grandchildren: Lilyana and Beaudyn Tucker and Chayce Chalk; her brother, Charles Berkeypile, Milford.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date with burial to take place in the Milford Cemetery. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
