WARSAW — Every December, the Fraternal Order of Police Warsaw Lodge #149 conducts the Christmas with a Cop program.  The event utilizes law enforcement officers from throughout the Warsaw area. The Christmas with a Cop program allows children of struggling households the opportunity to receive Christmas gifts for their families.  The children are preselected by their schools and the event is taking place tonight, Dec. 15, at Meijer in Warsaw.

The Warsaw Police Department Citizens Academy (Class #22) has again given back to the community.  Pictured above is Thania Colgrove providing a check to Warsaw FOP Chaplain Joel Beam in the amount of $500.  The funds will be used for Christmas with a Cop.

Pak-A-Sak/Marathon Food Marts of Warsaw have once again provided a large donation toward the purchase of clothing and gifts for local families in need of assistance this Christmas season.  Warsaw FOP Chaplain Joel Beam accepted the donation for $1,100 from  Pak-A-Sak/Marathon Food Mart Manager, Cindy Renier.
