KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Kosciusko, Noble, Marshall and many other northern Indiana counties. The warning is in effect from 9 p.m. tonight, Saturday, Dec. 10, until 4 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12.

Storm total snowfall accumulation from tonight through Sunday night of 6 to 10 inches are possible. Light snow is expected to overspread the area this evening, but will pick up in intensity during the overnight hours into Sunday morning.

Roads will become snow covered and hazardous. Reduced visibilities can be expected during periods of heavy snow.

The National Weather Service asks everyone to drive only in emergencies. If driving is necessary, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
