KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Contestants are being sought for the annual Miss Kosciusko Scholarship program. This year’s event will be held at 5 p.m. Jan. 14 at Wawasee Middle School, SR 13, south of Syracuse.

Teenagers between the ages of 13-17, residing anywhere within the state can participate in the Miss Teen Scholarship program. Young women between the ages of 18 and at least a senior in high school to 25 years of age can participate in the Miss Kosciusko Scholarship program.

Winners of the competition could earn between $50 to $1,000 toward college scholarships. Participants will be judged in five areas: talent, fitness, evening gown, interview and an on-stage question.
The deadline for applications is Christmas Day, Dec. 25.
