NAPPANEE — The following events will take place at the Nappanee Public Library:

Arctic adventures

It’s winter break at the Nappanee Library. Squash boredom blues with daily, drop-in activities in the kids’ department, Dec. 19 through Dec. 30. Learn about people and animals that live in cold temperatures. Books and a craft will be provided every day on a different topic, during Library hours. No registration is required. Call the Library at (574) 773-7919 for more information.

BOOK COOKS

Nappanee Library is excited to bring back “Book Cooks” in the month of December. Kids are welcome to join from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, to create a yummy recipe based on a kids book. In December we will be making “Snowballs.”

SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED

Have you ever wondered how a 3-D Printer works? Come to The Cube, the Nappanee Library’s Makerspace, from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, to see one in action. Learn about the printer and ask questions. Participants will assemble a Christmas tree made from pre-printed parts to take home. Register by Dec. 15, by calling the Library at (574) 773-7919 or online.
