WARSAW — A seminar, “Dangerous Mobile Apps,” will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Baker Youth Club.

It is presented by Beloved: Not Forgotten, a non-profit organization in Warsaw, and Remedy Live’s co-founder, Clinton Faupel, executive director. The Trends and Teens seminar will address the topic: How are apps changing the way crimes are being committed? This event is for grandparents, parents, teachers and teens.

Special guests include: Detective Jeffrey Robertson, FBI; Detective Chris McCarty, Fort Wayne Police Department; and Crista Miller. Speaking from on the job experiences, Robertson and McCarty give teens an insider’s view of how teens are being targeted and lured into dangerous situations across the state, and gives valuable information they need to protect themselves.

For grandparents and parents, Miller speaks from the heart about her personal experience with the Internet, apps and finding her daughter in a very dangerous situation. Her harrowing experience will open the eyes of both parents and teens alike.

There will be free pizza. Baker Youth Club is located at 1401 E. Smith St., Warsaw.
