Job Search and Networking Workshop
The Career Center will be hosting a three week workshop series designed to assist people with their job search and how to approach networking. The workshop will utilize tutorials and possibly hands on searching tools and sites. It will also cover how to attach documents. For example, attaching a resume to an application on an online employment search site. The goal is to give people the tools and ensure they are more effective in their approaches to job searching. All Goodwill Community Career Center Workshops are free and open to the public.

Community Service Food Drive
The Goodwill Career Center will be partnering with Combined Community Services to collect food for the community. Please drop food off at the Career Center from Dec. 12 until 3 p.m. on Dec. 16. Appropriate foods will include canned vegetables and fruits, cereal, rice, bread, etc. Please no freezer or refrigerated foods, and please avoid junk foods.
Work Skills Workshop
The Career Center will be hosting a two week skills workshop series designed to prepare people for the workforce. The workshop will include interactive tutorials on how to fill out a time card, how to properly fill out an application, search the classifieds, interview skills and tips for dressing appropriately depending on your place of employment. This time will also permit those who want to do a one-on-one mock interview to better prepare for the types of questions and expectations many employers are seeking. All Goodwill Career Center Workshops are free to the public.
