NAPPANEE – The NorthWood community will honor its state runner-up football team today.

The Panthers will be feted during a parade through town today at 4:30 p.m. There will then be a community rally at NorthWood High School to recognize the team starting at 5:15 p.m.

NorthWood lost a 34-22 final to Indianapolis Roncalli in the Class 4-A state championship game on Friday in Indianapolis. Coach Nate Andrews No. 2 ranked team finished its season 14-1.
