
William M. “Bill” Hyde Sr. 76, Warsaw, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016 at his home.
He was born Feb. 26, 1940 in Warsaw to Bruce Sr. and Isabella (Blodgette) Hyde. William married Janet Geller on Oct. 30, 1965; she survives.
Bill honorably served in the United States Army and retired from Warsaw Foundry where he worked for many years. He enjoyed being outside whether it was fishing, hunting, boating or camping. He enjoyed racing at the Warsaw Speedway, but most of all loved his kids and family.
Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janet: five children: William N. (Janice) Hyde, Pierceton; William M. Jr. (Dawn) Hyde, Sydney; Melvin (Kathy) Jordan, California; Sue Thomas, Warsaw; and Jeanette (Larry) Wood,Warsaw; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Bruce Jr. (Sharon) Hyde, Warsaw; three sisters: Esther Zimmerman, Palestine; Glenda Wood, Warsaw; and Jean (Bob) Campbell, Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Kaleb, two brothers and two sisters.
