Janet “Sue” Singleton, 63, North Manchester, died at 12:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Parkview Wabash Hospital.

She was born Aug. 5, 1953 in Sitka, Ky. to Douglas and Lee Edith (Jones) Burke.

Sue was a graduate of Johnson Central High School, in Johnson County, Ky. She married Terry Singleton Aug. 11, 1973; he died May 30, 2006. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 30 years. Sue was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Wabash. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting elephants, fishing, her cats, and especially loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children: Stephanie (Brian) Johnson, Jacksonville, Fla.; Stephen Singleton, North Manchester; and Tera (Michael) Blair, Peru; seven grandchildren: Mariah Nelson, Andalusia, Alabama; Sierra (Edwin) Iniguez, Jacksonville; Tiera Helms, Tia Helms, Kaleen Helms, Dalyla Helms, and Jayce Blair, all of Peru.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. Inurnment will be in Falls Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main Street, North Manchester.
