Dolores Lee Herrera, 71, Columbia City, died at her home Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016.

She was born April 16, 1945 in Austin, Texas a daughter of the late Alva M. and Mary Frances (Etheredge) Jackson. Her formative years were spent in the Austin area.

On June 12, 1995 she was united in marriage to Jerry Don Herrera. The couple made their home in Texas.

She worked for many years as flower shop owner in the Texas and completed her work career as a Deli Manager at a grocery.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; a son, Troy Bush, Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Alva Jackson, Sulphur, La.; a sister, Danna Lou Keeling-Milford, League City, Texas; and her caretaker, Eugene Childers, Columbia City.

There will be no visitation or funeral.
