The Warsaw Community Public Library is pleased to announce that Rosetta Stone, level one, is now freely available on INSPIRE, Indiana’s Virtual Library. The program can be accessed by Indiana residents from any computer equipped with an Internet Protocol address located in Indiana and web browser such as Firefox or Internet Explorer.

Rosetta Stone and EBSCO Information Services have partnered to make the first level of Rosetta Stone available. The program offers 30 different languages, including Spanish, French, Latin, Korean and Russian. Higher levels may be accessed upon purchase of the Rosetta Stone program.

“We strongly encourage people of all ages to take advantage of this academic tool,” said Dana Owen, Information Services Librarian at the Warsaw Community Public Library. “It’s great for those who want to try out the program before buying it, too.”

INSPIRE offers a large collection of academic databases. The complete database has over 100 reference options on a wide variety of topics, including biography references, business news, home improvement, MEDLINE, SAT and ACT preparatory courses and countless others. Access to the full database, including Rosetta Stone, can be acquired by visiting here.
