Briggs Matthew Burnett, infant son of Brent and Megan (Lengacher) Burnett was stillborn at 1:28 a.m., Monday, Oct. 31, 2016 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis.

Briggs was already so loved by his family: his parents, Brent and Megan; his grandparents Jack Jr. and Shelly Lengacher, Nappanee; and Mike and Dawn Burnett, Mason, Ohio; great grandparents, Dawn Suter, Nappanee;  Jack Sr. and Nadine Lengacher, Wakarusa; Jim and Liz Burnett, Springboro, Ohio; Elaine Duffey, Kettering, Ohio; and Lucy Duffey, Sulfur, Okla.; aunts: Brandie (Jon) Yoder and Kate Lengacher, both of  Nappanee; Uncle Drew (Samantha) Burnett, Maineville, Ohio; and cousins: Kaden, Hadley and Taylor Yoder, all of Nappanee.

He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Louis Suter and Pete Duffey.

Friends may call from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at The Creek (6430 S. Franklin Rd, Indianapolis) where a memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Seth Bryant will officiate. Friends may also call from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6 at Nappanee Missionary Church, where services will begin at 3:00.  Pastor Joe Focht will officiate and burial will be in Olive Cemetery, Wakarusa.

Thompson-Lenacher and Yoder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
