Warsaw Football Ticket, Basketball Information
WARSAW – The Warsaw athletic office issued a pair of items Tuesday afternoon concerning its sectional championship football game and its girls basketball program moving a game.
The football team is hosting Homestead Friday night in the Class 6-A No. 3 title game. Kickoff for the championship is at 7 p.m. at Fisher Field. Presale tickets will be available for purchase in the WCHS athletic office on the following dates:
Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Friday from 7:30 a.m. to noon
Tickets are $6 each and seating is general admission. All-sports packages do not cover playoff games.
The winner of the Warsaw-Homestead game will face either Carmel or Fishers on Nov. 11. Should Warsaw win – which would be the first sectional championship won at Warsaw – the Tigers would be on the road at either Carmel or Fishers. Homestead would host Carmel or visit Fishers.
The girls basketball games against Huntington North have been moved due to scheduling conflicts at both schools. The freshman, JV and varsity games scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12, have been moved to Friday, Nov. 11. The freshman game will start at 6 p.m. in the Career Center Gym, the JV and varsity games at 6 p.m. in the Tiger Den.
Warsaw opens its girls basketball season this Saturday at home against Fort Wayne Luers.
