NAPPANEE — The following events will take place at the Nappanee Public Library:
NAPPANEE CENTER CELEBRATES 10 YEARS
The Nappanee Center invites the community to join in celebrating 10 years of the Center!. at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, there will be a dessert reception followed by a short program honoring the life and work of the late Chuck Grimm, who was instrumental in the forming of the Center. Recipe Swap
Exchange recipes and collect some new favorites in this monthly program from 7-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14. Submit recipes to the Library in advance of each program and bring a dish to share to the meeting. November’s theme is “Thanksgiving Traditions.” Register by Nov. 7, by calling the Library at (574) 773-7919, or here.
LEGO CLUB
Kids and Tweens are invited to join us for this month’s Lego Club from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17. Participate in peer-judged building challenges and win prizes. Meetings end with free build time. In November, participants are invited to create the flag of their own imaginary country. No registration necessary.
WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP
Join artist Laurie Balla from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, for a watercolor workshop. Enjoy light refreshments and socializing while you learn the basics of watercolor painting.
