Valley Wrestling: Club Hosting Pair Of Programs
AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley wrestling program will host a pair of opportunities as the wrestling season is about to begin.
The Wrestling Club will open on Tuesday, Nov. 1, for anyone in grades kindergarten through eighth grade, meeting in the Tippecanoe Valley Middle School commons every Tuesday and Thursday. The Green Club meets at 6:30 and includes an hour of instruction per night, and allows entrance to all of the high school weeknight meets as well as a club shirt, cost is $25. The Gold Club includes an extra 30 minutes of instruction and membership to compete in the ISWA weekend tournaments as well as entrance to the weeknight meets. The Gold Club also allows the wrestler to attend other clinics, receive an insurance program and gain national news about wrestling, cost is $60 which includes the $35 USA wrestling card fee.
The Viking Elementary Camp is open to kids in kindergarten through grade five and will be held Nov. 1-3. The sessions are from 6:30-8 p.m. Wrestlers and parents will enter the TVHS door 8 or 12, and is free to attend.
Both opportunities are open to any student, not just from Tippecanoe Valley schools, and are instructed by Tippecanoe Valley wrestling coaching staff, former wrestlers and guest coaches. For more information, contact Kyler Kearby at [email protected] or (574) 598-2200.
