GOSHEN – The NorthWood volleyball team picked up a 3-1 win at Bethany Christian Tuesday night.

The Panthers dropped the first set 25-13 before claiming the next three 25-18, 25-10, 25-19 in the non-conference contest.

Kennedy Wiens slammed down 19 kills to power the Panthers to the win. Haylee Pennington added 11 kills for the winners.

Wiens also had four aces and Pennington added a pair. The trio of Pennington,  Courtney Lengacher and Maddy Payne each had three blocks. Lengacher had 40 assists and Taitlyn Trenshaw had 14 digs and Wiens 10.

NorthWood won the junior varsity match 25-21, 25-8. Maddy Payne led the winners with six kills, four aces and three blocks.
