Boys Soccer: NISC Issues Honors

soccerA pair of Lakeland Christian Academy soccer players have been honored by the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference.

Sophomore Noel Blum and freshman Parker Stewart of the Cougars received postseason honors on the all-conference team for the 2016 season.

Blum was tabbed for first-team honors on the all-conference squad, while Stewart was a second-team selection.

Also named to the first-team were sophomore Riley Brown of Elkhart Christian Academy and sophomore Cedric Brenneman and junior Simon Graber Miller of Bethany Christian.

Honored as second-team picks to the team were senior Evan Hartman and junior Tariku Freehand of Elkhart Christian Academy and the Bethany Christian trio of seniors Zane Zmudzinski and Natan Nafziger and junior Braden Miller.

Argos senior Vincent Stone was named the NISC Player of the Year. Culver Academies senior Michael Wright was honored as the NISC Goalkeeper of the Year.
