Dean L. Zehner, 68, Plymouth, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center-Plymouth Campus.

Dean was born Jan. 26, 1948 in Vero Beach, Fla., to the late Donald B. and Florence M. (Collins) Zehner.

He had worked for U.S. Granules for several years.

Surviving are his children: Don (Christi) Zehner, Plymouth; Randy Zehner, Atlanta, Ga.; Tammy Shaffer, North Liberty; three grandchildren: Brandon, Tanner and Laci Zehner. Also surviving are his siblings: Wanda Espich, Mishawka; and Dale Zehner, Plymouth; along with several nieces and nephews.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service celebrating Dean’s life will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan Street, Plymouth. Friends may visit with the family from noon until time of service on Thursday.
