Park Board Gets Update On Five Year Plan

WARSAW — Patrick Brown presented a quick update on the Five Year Master Plan to the Warsaw Park Board Tuesday night.

“We were a month ahead of schedule but now we’re back on schedule.”

Brown states they are on schedule to present a public hearing on the action plans next month. November will then be a presentation on budget for the next five years. By December Brown aims to have a finished draft of the Five Year Plan. A draft must be sent to the IDNR by Jan. 15 and a final plan by April 15.

Other business:

  • A roof was put on the shelter above the Apollo 12 exercise equipment at Lucerne Park. The ceiling will be installed in a few days.
  • Bicentennial celebration from 8 a.m to 12 noon Thursday, Sept. 29.
  • Seward Johnson statues to be picked up the evening of Sept. 29.
  • Fall Family Fun at Lucerne Park Oct. 14.
