SOUTH BEND – The duo of Carlie Wise and Kyla Kohler powered the Lakeland Christian Academy volleyball team to a 3-0 win over South Bend Career Academy Friday night.

Wise had nine aces to go with three kills and a block and Kohler had two kills, five digs and 13 assists as the Cougars won 25-17, 25-23, 25-19.

Sydney Hobbs totaled five aces, three kills and four digs for the winners. Cami Dahms had an ace, five kills and six digs and Heather Plastow three kills. Baylee Wiley had two digs and two assists, Natalie Plastow a dig and Morgan Ziebarth two assists and a block. Jessica Slone had two aces, four kills and a block.

LCA plays at Fort Wayne Canterbury Tuesday night.
