Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:31 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, South Main Street and West Church Street, Leesburg. Drivers: Sabas G. Valenca, 21, Anchorage Road, Warsaw, and Glen E. Zimmerman, 64, CR 44, Nappanee. Zimmerman collided with Valenca, as Zimmerman was turning into a parking lot. Damage up to $25,000.

11:50 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, West CR 600N and North Old SR 15, Leesburg. Driver: Kenneth T. Kirkpatrick, 55, B5A Lane, Leesburg. As Kirkpatrick was turning left onto 15, his trailer hitch came undone, as a result, his trailer ran off the road and struck a fence. Damage up to $5,000.
