pauline-mPauline M. Robinson, 106, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, at the Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth. The Robinson family would like to thank Melodie Overmyer and her staff at Pilgrim Manor for taking such good care of Pauline.

Pauline was born on July 8, 1910, in Peru, to Clarence O. and Effie M. (Shafer) Pulley. On July 8, 1937, Pauline married Howard W. Robinson. Pauline was a member of Delta Theta Tau and was an Eastern Star. She enjoyed going to lunch with her girlfriends, shopping, wintering with her husband Howard in Key West, Fla., and spending summers watching him fish in Minnesota. She helped her husband with record keeping for United Beverage of Marshall County which they owned and ran for 25 years.

Pauline is survived by her dear friends: Barb Shearer; Jim Kish; and Paula Meersman. Pauline is preceded in passing by her husband: Howard W. Robinson on April 3, 2001; her son: Ralph Duram Jr. on Nov. 7, 2008; and her sister: Betty Walter on May 30, 2013.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Robinson family. A funeral will be held at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth, in honor of Pauline at noon Friday, Sept., 16, with Chaplain Alex Jack officiating. Burial will take place in the Old Oakhill Cemetery.

A time of visiting with the Robinson family will also be held at the Van Gilder Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 16.

The Robinson family requests memorial contributions in honor of Pauline are made to the Masons.
