Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

10:42 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9 at 9554 West SR 25, Mentone. Driver: Tyler M. Evans, 18, West CR 125N, Etna Green. Evan’s vehicle hit a parked vehicle when his brakes failed. Damages up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

4:29 p.m., Friday, Sept. 9 at East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Mark J. Bowman, 51, Fort Wayne St., Warsaw and Christopher P. Carroll,22, Syracuse Webster Road, Syracuse. Both drivers entered the intersection at the same time, causing their vehicles to collide. Damages up to $2,500.

11:34 p.m., Friday, Sept. 9 at Rozella Road, Warsaw. Driver: Kaleb A. Scheidewent, 18, Woodland Hills Drive, Warsaw. Scheidewent noticed a large tree blocking the roadway. He was unsuccessful in stopping his vehicle in time and his vehicle collided with the tree. Damages up to $2,500.
