Lori A. Snyder, 59, Plymouth, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at home her.

Lori was born on Feb. 7, 1957, in Peru, to Kenneth E. and Hazel (Mathis) Gilliland. She will be fondly remembered for her heart of gold and fondness of cats.

Lori is survived by her mother: Hazel Gilliland, Plymouth; her son: Matt Snyder; and her daughter: Melissa Snyder, Alaska; her siblings: Sandy Lingefelter, Bristol; Marsha and Mike Auld, Fort White, Fla.; Pat and Kirk Clark, Plymouth; Rex and Kathleen Gilliland, Plymouth; Dennis Gilliland, Seymour; Roger and Lila Gilliland, Kokomo; Tim and Gina Howell, Plymouth; Claude and Cathy Howell, Plymouth; her two grandchildren; stepmother: Grace Gilliland, Plymouth. Lori is preceded in passing by her father: Kenneth E. Gilliland on Sept. 1.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Snyder family. According to Lori’s wishes there will be a private family gathering at a later date.
