WINONA LAKE – Kyla Kohler led the way as the Lakeland Christian Academy volleyball team topped LaCrosse Friday night.

The host Cougars picked up a 25-21, 25-12, 25-13 victory.

Kohler had a strong all-around showing with five aces, five kills, five digs and eight assists for the winners.

Carlie Wise contributed four aces to go with a kill and five digs for LCA. Sydney Hobbs had three aces, a kill, two digs and three assists. Cami Dahms had three aces, five kills, four digs and two assists and Baylee Wiley three aces and a kill.

Jessica Slone had two aces to go with four kills, two assists and a block for the Cougars. Morgan Ziebarth had an ace and a dig and Nathaly Zapata three aces.

LaCrosse won the junior varsity match 25-8, 25-24.

LCA returns to action at home Tuesday night versus Community Baptist.
