Mark A. Wells, 56, LaFontaine, passed away at 4:46 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, in LaFontaine. He was born to the late James and Marguerite (Allen) Wells on June 13, 1960, in Marion.

He was a tech for United Technologies in Huntington. He served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his son: Chad Wells, LaFontaine; and daughter: Tammy McGuinn, Marion; granddaughter: Delaney McGuinn; sister: Karen Wells, Anchorage, Alaska; and partner of five years: Susan Summers; and former wife: Phyllis (Wells) Cox.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, with military honors. McDonald Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
