Host Granger Christian rallied past Lakeland Christian Academy for a 3-2 prep volleyball victory Thursday night.

Granger took the match 24-26, 25-21, 17-25, 25-17, 15-9.

Carlie Wise led the way for LCA with three aces, three kills, four digs, two assists and a block.

Cami Dahms had two aces to go with nine kills and 23 digs for the Cougars. Sydney Hobbs had four aces, three kills and four digs. Heather Plastow has 14 digs and Natalie Plastow eight digs. Baylee Wiley contributed with an ace, a kill and nine digs and Jessica Slone had three aces, three kills and two digs.

Kyle Kohler had a strong showing with three aces to go with six kills, 13 digs and 13 assists.

LCA will host Community Baptist on Tuesday night.

Boys Soccer

Argos held its home field well in a 5-0 win against LCA Thursday evening.

Argos held LCA to just one shot the entire match, and it didn’t find its target. The Dragons ripped 15 shots on target and 21 shots overall.

The score was just 1-0 Argos at the half and through the 60th minute before Argos broke through the LCA defensive wall.

Cross Williams would make 10 saves for the Cougars, which fall to 4-3 overall and 0-3 in the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference. LCA next plays in the Lancer Cup at LaVille.
