WARSAW — Lakeland Art Association is proud to be hosting a wonderful exhibit throughout September. “Sarah Creason and the Artists She Has Inspired.”

Creason is a wonderfully talented impressionist painter who has been encouraging and teaching other local artists for many years. She always has a smile and a kind word, despite the many challenges she has overcome in her life. Sarah has fought cancer, and won, seven times. She teaches a class, “Art, Side by Side,” with Cancer Services in Fort Wayne. She also welcomes many artist friends to join her in her home studio, “Fishtales,” to spend a day painting, learning, and laughing.

Creason says, “I would like to be a cheerleader for anyone who wants to learn to paint. These amazing people inspire me.”

Come to the Lakeland Gallery at 302 E. Winona Ave, Warsaw, to see some beautiful examples of Sarah’s work, along with 34 other artists who have painted with her. A truly inspiring exhibit, honoring a truly inspiring woman.

Gallery hours are 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. A reception will be held for Creason and the other artists 2 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 11. Receptions are always free and open to the public.
