Boys Soccer

The Wawasee boys soccer team fell 4-2 to Culver Academy Wednesday night. Chris Pena and Blayne Faught scored for the Warriors. Carter Jones had an assist.

Wawasee (1-4-1) will play Huntington North this Saturday.

Girls Golf

Wawasee got a preview of its upcoming challenge Wednesday evening. The ladies traveled to play Culver Academy in a warmup, of sorts, before the invite hosted by the Academy this weekend. Culver won Wednesday’s contest 199-206.

Wawasee was led by Aubrey Schmeltz’s 46. Madison Beaman shot a 49, Jadison Rostochak had a 59, Zoe White signed for a 58, Lesley Tayagua shot a 53 and Valerie Haessif shot a 63.

Wawasee (10-6) will play in the Culver Invite this Saturday.

Freshman Football

The Wawasee athletic department announced that Thursday’s freshman football game between Wawasee and West Noble has been cancelled.
