Elizabeth Ann Nicholson, 72, Warsaw, passed away at 12:42 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, in her residence.

On Sept. 15, 1943, she was born in Philadelphia, Pa., to George W. and Alice Marie (Concillio) Gross.  She was united in marriage to Lenord E. Nicholson Sr. on June 8, 1963, in New Jersey, who survives.

Elizabeth moved to Warsaw from New Jersey in 1994.  She was a homemaker, who loved the Lord and her family.  She was a member of Touch of Life Church, Warsaw, where she was a prayer leader.  Elizabeth believed in the Holy Bible and would do anything for anybody.  She was loved by all.  She loved cooking, knitting and crocheting.  She was a loving wife, an awesome mom and a loving grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Lenord E. Nicholson Sr., Warsaw; three children: Barb (Andy) McCreery Sr., Warsaw; Lenny (Wendy) Nicholson Jr., Warsaw; Michael “Mikey” (Annette) Nicholson, Warsaw; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers; one sister; and numerous extended family members and church family members. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, in Touch of Life Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Rick Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5, in Touch of Life Church, Warsaw.
