Volleyball
The Wawasee volleyball team picked up its second win of the season Tuesday night. The Warriors edged Manchester 3-2 to move to 2-4 on the year.
Olivia Clouse led Wawasee with nine kills, Hannah-Marie Lamle added seven. Seaquinn Bright had 31 digs while Taylor Mock recorded 16 assists.
The JV team moved to 8-2 on the season with a 2-0 sweep of the Squires. Caitlin Wortinger led the team with 13 digs, Elizabeth Kleopfer had eight kills.
Wawasee will host Plymouth Thursday night.
Tennis
The boys tennis team downed Whitko 5-0 to move to 5-1 on the year.
No. 1 singles saw Dylan Staley defeated Bailey Platt 6-1, 6-0. Cory Hersha fell to Nate Haines 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Whitko forfeited the court at No. 3 singles.
Tim Conley and Evan Krueger defeated Micah Cokl and Austin Hollowell 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles while at No. 2 doubles it was Graham Perek and Mason Grey defeating Luke Spurlin and Nathan Smith, 6-1, 6-0.
Wawasee will travel to Concord on Thursday.
