Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
12:26 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Driver: Ricardo Ahuatl, 19, East CR 200N Warsaw. Ahuatl was in the drive-thru of Steak ’N Shake when he admitted to falling asleep. Ahtual released the break and hit a parked car. The responding officer detected the the odor of alcohol and Ahtual admitted to drinking around 10:30 p.m. Damages up to $2,500.
2:26 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, East Center Street and North Zoe Street, Warsaw. Driver: Ismael Orduno, 25, North First Street, Peirceton. Orduno’s vehicle was traveling eastbound on East Center Street, when he drove off the roadway. Orduno’s vehicle struck a street sign and two trees. Orduno was took a certified breath test and was booked for OWI. Damages up to $25,000.
11:42 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, Lake City highway and Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jordan Wadkins, 22, North CR 175E, Warsaw and Nina Zhang, 29, Kilbrogan court, Clarksville Ho, Maryland. Wadkin’s vehicle rear ended Zhang’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
11:58 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeffery Rabe, 52, East Center Street, Warsaw and William Yeager, 51, North Colorado Street, Andrews. Rabe’s vehicle rear ended Yearger’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following accident:
10:37 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Richard Schaaf, 44, CR 42, Goshen and Ivan Castillo, 34, North Bayberry Court, Warsaw. Schaaf failed to stop his vehicle in time at an intersection, causing his vehicle to collide with Castillo’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
