WINONA LAKE – The Lakeland Christian Academy volleyball team dropped a 3-0 final Saturday to Michana Crusaders.

The Crusaders bested the host Cougars 25-19, 25-13, 26-24 in the varsity tilt.

Kyla Kohler had 11 assists to go with two aces, a kill and a dig to pace LCA.

Carlie wise had three kills and an ace and a dig for the Cougars. Sydney Hobbs had an ace, three kills, two digs and four assists and Cami Dahms three kids and 11 digs. Heather Plastow had four digs and an assist and Baylee Wiley two aces, a kill and two digs.

Jessica Slone contributed with three kills and four blocks for the Cougars. Natalie Plastow had an ace and a dig and Morgan Ziebarth a kill.

The Crusaders also won the JV match 25-13, 25-8.

LCA hosts Culver Academy on Tuesday evening.
