Kosciusko County 

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

4:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 26 at intersection of East CR 550N and N CR 75E, Leesburg. Driver: Kara L. Dishman, 21, N CR 75E, Leesburg. Dishman was traveling westbound and stated she didn’t see the curve in the road. She attempted to slow down her vehicle, but due to wet pavement slid and struck a telephone pole.  Damages up to $5000

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 26 at Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Kurt Brown, 61, Cranford Court, Granger and Adam Miller, 37, Filbert Trail, Bremen. Brown began to switch lanes with his vehicle and failed to see Miller’s vehicle already in the lane. Brown’s vehicle sideswiped Miller’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.

10:25 a.m., Friday, Aug. 26 at 1205 Provident Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Dawnitta Trafan, 41, Epworth Forest Road, North Webster and Jason Zaugg, 37, Roy Street, Winona Lake. Trafan was reversing her vehicle in a parking lot when she failed to see Zaugg’s vehicle behind her and hit it. Damages up to $5,000.
