Plymouth Forfeits Football Victory

Plymouth SportsPLYMOUTH – The Plymouth football team will forfeit its season-opening win over Bremen.

The Rockies, who defeated the Lions 30-3 last Friday night, used an ineligible player in the contest. The player in question was involved in just four plays and never touched the ball in the game.

The Plymouth High School Athletic Department announced Tuesday that it self-reported the violation to the IHSAA and a result the game will be recorded as a forfeit. The game will be recorded as a 3-0 win for Bremen.

Plymouth plays at Rochester this Friday night.
