MIDLAND, Mich. – Omar Estevez hit a walk-off single with two outs in the ninth inning, as the Great Lakes Loons defeated the Fort Wayne TinCaps 4-3 on Monday.

Darien Tubbs scored the game-winning run after he reached base on a forceout and advanced to second on a hit batsman.

The Loons tied the game 3-3 in the bottom of the eighth when Ibandel Isabel hit a solo home run.

Reliever Dennis Santana (5-9) picked up the win after he allowed two runs and four hits over five innings. He also struck out eight and walked one. Elvin Liriano (1-2) went 3 2/3 innings, allowing two runs and five hits while striking out one in the Midwest League game.

Isabel homered and singled, driving in two runs in the win.

Both clubs meet again Tuesday night.
