Raymond T. Holbrook, 94, Milford, formerly of New Paris, died Friday morning, Aug. 19, 2016 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

He was born April 10, 1922, in Peoria, Ill., to Mabel (Holdeman) Holbrook. On Oct. 5, 1945, he married Aline M. Cook in Goshen. She died Aug. 15, 1999.

He is survived by a son, Ricky (Shane) Holbrook, New Paris, a grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Ray was a carpenter and mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, oil painting and liked to read western novels.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, graveside service will take place at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
