ARGOS – The Warsaw boys soccer team opened its season by playing host Argos to a 4-4 deadlock Tuesday night.

The trio of Blake Burns, Luis Cieto and Andrew Mevis each had a goal and an assist to pace the Tigers in the non-conference match. Eric O’cock also tallied a goal for Warsaw.

The Warsaw junior varsity team posted an 11-1 win. Dayne Koontz and Adam Brown each scored three times to pace the winners. Jorge Rico added a pair of goals and Zach LaLonde, Jacob LaLonde and Jose Lara each had one goal for the Tigers.

Warsaw returns to action Friday night versus Fort Wayne North Side at 7 p.m. in the Shindigz Tournament in Fort Wayne.
