James K. Lowe, 78, New Paris, died 5:10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.

He was born Sept. 9, 1937 in Walton, W.V. to Romie and Elsie (Patrick) Lowe. He married Lena (Allen) Lowe on Sept. 23, 1972.

Surviving are his wife, Lena, New Paris; three stepsons: Everett “Dale” Hively, West Virginia; Alan Hively, West Virginia; William (Joan) Hively, Goshen; sister, Judy (Scott) Baxter, Ohio; brother, Willis (Sue) Lowe, West Virginia; four step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents, brother, Daris Lowe and sister, Louise Lowe.

James was a trim setter in the manufacturing industry. He was a member of the Full Gospel Community Church.

Visitation will one hour prior to the 2 p.m. service Saturday, Aug. 20, all at the Full Gospel Community Church, corner of Market St. (CR 46) and Division St. (CR 23), New Paris. Pastor Fred Curry will officiate and burial will be in New Paris Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Full Gospel Community Church.
