GOSHEN — Wilson’s Reservoir is set to play an exclusive preview of their upcoming release, The Last Will and Testament of Buck Baker at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at Ignition Music Garage. In partnership with Nimble Wit Productions and 5Core Media, the concert will be filmed and released alongside the album this September. The concert will also feature Ethan Setiawan. 2014 National Mandolin Champion and Goshen favorite.
Hailing from Goshen, Wilson’s Reservoir is driven by the experiences and travels of frontman Ben Wilson. Much like the reservoir created by Wilson and his father during his youth, the band calls each listener into the clearings of the individual life journey.
Ethan Setiawan is a mandolinist from Goshen. A short list of his accomplishments include participating in Savannah Music Festival’s Acoustic Music Seminar, being awarded a full ride scholarship to Berklee College of Music, performing on NPR syndicate Prairie Home Companion, and winning the 2014 National Mandolin Championship, and all before turning 18.
Ignition Music Garage presents, and will be filming, Wilson’s Reservoir with special guest Ethan Setiawan Aug. 20. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $25 and expected to sell out quickly .
The Ignition Concert Series began in 2012 when Steve Martin founded Ignition Music Garage, a music venue that doubles as a record store and broadcasting location for 91.1 FM The Globe.
