WARSAW — Steve Zorn, certified instructor of the award-winning FAST Defense empowerment program, is the featured presenter for an anti-abduction course for children ages 8-12 on from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27. This course is being offered free to community children.

This exciting FAST Defense “Stop Predators FAST” course is designed to teach children how to respond to a potential abductor and, if necessary, how to use simple defensive moves for a successful getaway. At the conclusion of the course each child will be provided an opportunity to practice the defensive skills against an instructor wearing special padded armor. This empowering 90-minute presentation will be held at Parkview Warsaw YMCA located at 1305 Mariners Drive, Warsaw.

“I cannot emphasize enough the importance of teaching kids these skills,” said Steve Zorn. “FAST Defense empowers children to not be afraid and to protect themselves in certain situations. In turn, the knowledge that their children know how to handle themselves gives parents peace of mind.”

Zorn has over 27 years of experience in self-defense, crime prevention, and personal safety. During the past 17 years he has been privileged to empower men, women, teens and children with the knowledge and skills to keep themselves safe from crime and violence. He has taught FAST Defense and other Self-Defense courses throughout Indiana to corporations, non-profit groups, and other organizations.

Space is limited to only 15 children. To register your child for this course, call (574) 269-7209.
