LAFAYETTE – The NorthWood girls golf team continued its busy opening week of the season with a 10th place finish Tuesday at the Lafayette Jefferson Booster Invitational.

The Panthers, who opened their season Monday. shot 367 in the 21-team field at the Battle Ground Golf Course.

Summer Stillson, for the second straight day, turned in a strong effort to pace the Panthers. Stillson fired a round of 78, which was good for 11th place among the 108 golfers in the event.

Mackenzie Weaver shot an 82 and Abby Slabaugh had a 94 for the Panthers. Delaney Davis finished with a 113 and Alana Benjamin a 115 for NorthWood.

Indianapolis Cathedral claimed the team title with a score of 301.

NorthWood returns to action today in the Lake Central Invitational.
